Standard Self-Scoring Blade – Heavy-Duty

Self-Scoring Blades have a wing on each end of the blade that cuts vertically through the material as the horizontal edge removes it from the floor. This feature allows you to easily remove material like Carpet, LVP, Sheet Vinyl, and other hard-to-remove materials without pre-scoring. 

The Standard Self-Scoring Blade has a traditional design, meaning the self-scoring wings extend the full length of the blade. Since this requires a properly sized clamp, we’ve designed our self-scoring blades to be about ½” wider than the listed blade width (eg, our 10” blades have a width of approximately 10.5” between each self-scoring wing, so a 10” blade clamp will fit a 10” self-scoring blade).
