Blades

A good floor scraper needs an even better blade

The blade is the heart of a floor scraper and has a massive impact on its performance. No matter how remarkable the scraper might be, using a poor-quality blade will cause the performance of the machine to suffer.

So what makes a good blade? Like many tools, it depends on what you want to accomplish. Different jobs call for different options. Matching the correct blade to the job will improve productivity, quality of the subfloor, and reduce stress on the machine. A good blade needs to be tough enough to withstand the abuse from expansion joints, bolts, and other objects on/in the floor which it will encounter.

In addition to being tough, it also needs to be hard enough to maintain a good cutting edge. A blade is only sharp until it touches the floor. After that, it is simply at varying degrees of dull. A blade that can maintain a good cutting edge will improve productivity and allow the machine to run longer between sharpening sessions.

What makes our blades different?

We are pleased to announce the launch of our new blade line. Through extensive R&D, we have developed a manufacturing process that puts our floor stripping blades ahead of the competition. Our products will hold an edge longer, and be consistently tougher when compared to conventional offerings. We are also proud to introduce our Advanced Self-Scoring blades which include a patented design feature that improves the performance and longevity of the cutting edge as compared to typical self-scoring options in the market.
