Heavy-Duty Flat Blades

Heavy-Duty Flat Blades are best used with Ride-on scrapers due to the weight of the machines being too much for the thinner flat blades. Flat Blades are typically used for removing flooring like VCT, epoxy coatings, and other material that easily separates from the rest of the flooring during tear out. They are also a great option for re-scraping adhesive. Due to the increased thickness of the Heavy-Duty option, these blades are also better at removing harder materials like wood, and potentially ceramic tile depending on how hard the tile is bonded to the floor.

Flat blades can be used for removing materials like broadloom carpet or sheet vinyl, but the user will need to prescore the flooring to take it up efficiently.
