Our History

Continuing a Legacy

The Anderson family first entered the floor equipment market in 1969 when Lloyd Anderson began developing tools for material handling and installation. His son Marty worked with him developing new ideas and growing several businesses.

Marty was given control of the family equipment business in 1986. From that point forward, there was a shift in the direction of the company. Marty began developing new ideas for hydraulic powered and self-propelled floor scraper machines. Over the next 15 years, Marty would develop many new machines and secure dozens of patents for his inventions. During that time, Marty’s three sons began working in the family business, developing a passion for innovation and manufacturing.

In 2016, a new idea for an improved compact ride-on floor scraper and an opportunity to bring this new machine to the European market launched a new family business, Anderson Innovations. The ES 1000 began selling in Europe in 2017. The success of this machine provided an opportunity for the research and development of an improved walk-behind floor scraper design.

The ES 200 floor scraper was launched in 2018, followed by the ES 90 and the ES 400 in 2019. Since then, Anderson Innovations has developed several new pieces of equipment and secured 6 US patents for their designs with patents pending in Europe, Australia, and Canada. The 50-year-old legacy of innovation continues to move forward.
