What is the ES 90 Walk-Behind Floor Scraper?
The ES 90 Walk Behind Floor Scraper is our smallest floor scraper and is designed to be an effective, durable, compact machine that is easy to use and transport. At 86 pounds, it’s:
- Easy for one person to load and unload from vehicles
- Compact for easy transport (height reduces to only 17 inches)
- Elevator- and stair-friendly
- Perfect for wood and weak subfloor
The blade clamp allows for the use of a variety of common blade sizes and the blade angle can be easily adjusted in a broad range by moving the wheels up and down. The handle can be adjusted to 4 different positions, including a unique over-center position allowing the operator to apply more pressure to the blade. The blade moves in an orbital cutting motion which helps the edge to sever the adhesive bond between the material and the subfloor. All components are made of heavy gauge steel and can withstand regular hard use. All these features combined make the ES 90 the right choice for those needing a light, compact scraping machine without sacrificing on capability.

With its compact yet robust design, the ES 90 Floor scraper is perfect for a variety of purposes, including:

The ES 90 is not self-propelled and requires the operator needs to push the machine. So, while it might not be what you need for larger or commercial jobs, having a light, compact floor scraper can be an asset to almost any project. The price-point of the machine is also much lower than our self-propelled units, making it a great option for someone who only does occasional tear out or DIYers.
